    Your chickens look good.

We just had an hour-long rain with wind and fireworks come through here. Second rain in six months. We sat on the back porch with coffee enjoying the show as we listened to the grass grow.

Rain is good entertainment when you don't have any for a long time.

We were close to 100 today - pop up storms here as well. Looks like you make the best of it....I get quite nervous with lightning. Is that a special sauce on the chicks, or perhaps sweet and sour. In either case, it looks delicious! :)

WOW, that's like a heat wave or sumthin up that way!

Hahahaha, that would feel almost cold down here. ;)

Great looking cooks Steven, enjoy these sweltering dog days and have a great weekend. I almost wished you a happy Fourth of July but caught myself in the nick of time. I guess I can still wish you a happy Fourth of July . . . it just wont have the same meaning. Have a great Fourth of July Steven and a happy Fifth of July and a super Sixth of July. What ever floats your boat Dude.

I spent 32 years dodging those infernal storms along the lofty skyways. Now I'm comfy & cozy watching the fireworks while enjoying savory moments with a cocktail and some grillin' under the shelter of my lanai. One of my favorite dishes is 'grouper fromage'.

The yardbird looks awesome - what's the glaze?

I, like Leroy, am very envious of all the rain, but we'll be happy to send some of the heat your way.
