Howdy folks !

About time to send a sign of life ;-)

Sorry for not being around too much but my day job, house, competition team, the BGE distribution, catering and my Rubs kept me going at 200 % for the last year.
I keep lurking every now and then when im on the road but typing is a major PITA on the mobile phone...

Anyway, today i found the time to cook and take pics and even post them.

Made some MOINK Balls made out of dry aged american Beef, stuffed with roasted lobster and garlic and wrapped in serrano ham. I cooked them on the mini egg on top of a cherry plank with some rosemary and olive twigs for smoke. Glaze was red wine Jelly and i also topped them with some parmesan cheese and chili flakes.

They were out of this world delicious ! smi5.gif

Perfection from the master himself. Wunderbare! Unglaubliche!

BTW, how much did that Lone Star set you back, and why are you drinking that horse pi$$ in Germany, for God's sake? :ermm:

    Dripping Springs, Texas.

Lol - actually this one was brought from TX by a friend of mine. Believe it or not, with all those great german beers over here , i just love an ice cold Bud or Lonestar in the summer every now and then. B)

Those are some high class MOINK Balls. They look great!
  • Dude! That looks incredible. Your pictures are outstanding; I really liked the one with the fresh rosemary on the black lump. This would be a dish I'd try to replicate for a New Years Eve party. Great stuff DM, I hope you're able to post more often!

I really like what appears to be a modular outdoor kitchen with sink, fridge, and work space. You just plug it in and run water lines? I have a cheapie plastic model that is really made for gardening which accepts a garden hose, and of course no fridge.
