Ku's first overnighter!

After practicing Thirdeye's brisket technique last weekend, Ku put this 11# flat on last night
He woke up at 3am to check, and dome temp was down to 160, so he wiggled and went back to bed until 5.....dome temp 190 and meat 160....he admitted to a small, center start and learned about a "burn down"....he wiggled again and opened the vents....at 6 he finally agreed to stir the lump, and then he got the LBGE up to 300 and finished at 190 meat at 730!
Foiled and broth added, it rested in the cooler until he came home at 9 for the final prep to take to the office party!!!
I was left with the clean up (he DID ask ) and the goodies for chopped sammie!
Of course, the Birthday Girl got some!

There you go bragging on your man again. You're just like Judy. I know... we're worth bragging about but it's getting to be a little hard to live up to the hype. Ku and I will give y'all ten or twelve more years and then we may have to insist that you tone it down a bit. Some of the other guys are having a bit of a problem trying to live up to such high Eggspectations.
