This was my first overnight butt cook. After talking to some folks at the waldorf eggfest (thanks everyone!!)I wanted to try an overnight butt cook. I put it on Friday night around midnight and took it off when the internal temperature got to 200 deg., which was 1:30 PM on Saturday. So overall it tok 13.5 hours and it was a breeze. I set the egg to 250 dome temp and it stayed that way the whole cook and I had alot of charcoal left over.
Rubbed with homemade rub, Dizzy Dust, and Butt Rub
Saturday morning still at 250
About to pull off the grill
Bone came right out..

Looks like you nailed it! I did one near 250 deg this weekend too. I've done them at lower temps but I swear it takes nearly forever for them to get to final temp. Hope it tasted as good as it looks!
