For the past 18 years I have been trying to convince the wife that the fish family is made up of more fish than just fried cod.. She approved of the cod and tilapia I had cooked on the egg.
Tonight I followed a recipe from here for oriental grilled tuna. To me is masked the flavor of the tuna, but she loved it :woohoo:.
Served it on a bed of wild rice, oriental green beans and a wasabi sour cream sauce.
This was the tuna after 1 hour in the marinade

Mine . Recipe called for 3 minutes each side. Next time I will go 2 and skip the marinade on mine.
Looks like fish will be on the weekly menu!

Looks great, wish I could get decent tuna in the upper midwest.I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

Thanks Tim. I got over the mushroom and asparagus issue and she is getting over the fish thing.

Kendall,
Don't give up. My wife probably would never go for a strong fish like salmon, but a light fish with good flavor she is starting to like.
Its kind of like the process I had to go thru to get her to enjoy mowing the grass....baby steps -
Richard,
That was pretty funny there :laugh:Steve

Richard I'm like Steven but, I put Cindy on my Dixie Chopper so I can go trim and get done sooner and is like she can't wait to get off. I will say she loves to push mow. I'll keep trying.
