My license says it expires on my birthday. Now would that be midnight on the prior day, or midnight on the birth date. Any one know for sure as I'm in a bind over the timing.. Thanks for any help!!~~~

  • Midnight on the day of your birth or the date stated on your d/l. Hope this helps.

Hungryman should be here any time now :)
Sure would guess the night of.....
Salado TX Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max (I'm good for now).

It will be at midnite on your birthday, but that is effectively at the close of business on that date since after that you have to wait till the next morning B)

My birthday is 25 may and a few years ago on the day after Memorial Day I went to the bank to cash a check and the cashier looked at my dl and said it expired over the weekend, so she would not cash the check even though I have had the same bank and account for several years, so off to the drivers license store.
My understanding is that it expires on midnight of your birthday just like the registration on your vehicles in your name.

Well let's see... the prior day is not your birthday so why would it expire then?

I don't think it matters much in Florida when it comes to Driver's Licenses. A buddy of mine who grew up there renewed his Florida license from Boston. They even printed it with his Boston address on it. It is a good thing he looks older because bartenders often pause and think it is fake.
