I am cooking a bone in turkey breast, 8 lb. 350 for 20 min/lb. at an hour and a half in my desired internal temp of 160 is reached, do I trust the time or temp? Thanks in advance.

always temp
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Trust the temp. Turkey whole goes about 15 min a pound tops at 325. Breasts are much faster

Definitely go by temp. I cooked one last weekend and it was done in an hour and a half.

Trust the temp.
