Seasoning some pans

Over the past couple of weeks I've been working on seasoning some pans.

I found an older cast iron frying pan - put it on the coals with the egg as hot as possible to strip off the finish. Removed any rust with vinegar and neutralized with soda. Applied a very thin layer of flax seed oil, then back in to the egg, indirect at about 500 F for an hour, then closed up the egg and let it sit until cool. Repeated about 6 times. Essentially any time I cooked on the egg - I'd do another application of the oil at the end of the cook.

I'm working on the griswold frying pan and the round griddle now - they are in the egg right now getting their surface stripped.
