It was a great day with great people. Loved seeing old friends and making new ones. I didn't get too many of the good picks but I'm sure you will be seeing them through the week as the stories leak out. The weather was good, the food great and the company the best anyway hope you like the pics.

Those are great pics, Pat. I don't know when you had time to take all those. You were the official Melbourne Ambassador/Welcomer, airport picker upper, cook, nest deliverer, defender of egg chefs, among other things. I hope the red wine comes out of your neon yellow shirt!Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

I didn't think bringing it up during the iron egg competition would have been a good idea but the thought did cross my mind :laugh: :laugh:

Pat, it happened after the egg chef competition, during the judging. That was the leftover 1/2 glass of red wine that I had sitting on our table in case we needed it to add to our dish. Sorry, someone bumped me and I spilled it down the back of that cute neon yellow shirt.Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

The Florida fest was a BLAST! And the cooking fantastic, your brisket sooooo tender! If anybody left hungry it was their own falt. Everything I cooked was snatched up as fast as it was out of the egg. I said..."Careful the pulled beef is hot". GULP, down it went anyway. :laugh: :laugh:

We are getting in some much needed R&R, beach combing early mornings and evenings and then leaving to go party at a mini eggfest that eniee meniee is hosting at her place!!!

Thanks for the slideshow. It was a perfectly planned event. We appreciate all the efforts of the committee. Clay just seeing your handcrafted grill table was a thrill. I'm so happy that enie meniee was the winner of it.

Bubba Tim, Julie, Jupiter Jim, Little Chef, Neil, Pork Butt Mike, and Sabrina (alphabetical order) and you know how to put on an awesome fest. What a great gathering of eggheads along with great weather, great food, and the ocean.....it doesn't get better than that (unless you win a signed Clay BBQ table with a small egg........ :evil: )
