How do you go about hauling an egg with no nest?
I have a homebuilt large wooden egg nest but I want to haul my egg around occasionally, camping etc.
I was thinking of maybe some kind of crate or something that I could use to haul and then as a stand with some firebricks between the plywood top and egg.

Works good for s small egg, but it would be pretty heavy with a large.

So no one has any suggestions?

As Clark already said the Large would be quite a hefty move. Might want to think about a nest and one of these. Scroll down about half way.
