Yesterday, I made some wonderful Portobellos and zucchini.. And the chicken was fantastic. This time I got the chicken from Whole Foods and it was one of the best ones I've ever gotten.
I used Dizzy Pig Shakin the Tree on the chicken. Cooked skin side down for about 10 min then converted to indirect at around 375....
On the Portobellos I marinated (gills up) with fresh minced garlic, Balsamic vinegar, olive oil and some pepper...splashed a tad of worsteshire too... On the zucchini garlic, kosher salt, fresh ground pepper and olive oil.. really nice.

Jerry, what was the difference with the chicken you got at Whole Foods? Your dinner looks delicious, and I love the mushrooms.Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

Looks nice. I bet it was good

Those veggies look perfect, nice cook. Whole foods, Earth Fare and Publix Greenwise all have excellent chicken, and you really can tell a difference. Randy

Looks awesome! I love grilled veggies.

Hi Faith,
The chicken was just more tender than the ones I buy at Publix. I would have never thought there was a difference. On the wrapper it said, no hormones or antibiotics, I'm not sure this really makes a difference. Maybe I'll have to reserve judgement on those chickens til I try a few more and make a more scientific statement.
