Cooked these yesterday :woohoo: . Ive cooked all the small meals thought it was time to up the anie. Next time im gonna do a all nighter

Hilarious picture of the chickens. I have some pheasants left from S. Dakota trip this year. Can't wait to get them on the egg. Your cook looks great.

Love doing pheasant that way. Did you brine them at all? I have found a 12 hr brine and then cooking them as you did ends with great results.

Yea i brimed them. This is the recipe i started with. http://www.gamebirdhunts.com/Resources/GameRecipes/PheasantRecipes/SmokedPheasantRecipe/tabid/273/Default.aspx I left off the liquid smoke and doubled the recipe. I wish i wouldnt have put a whole cup of the salt should have left it at 1/2 cup. And i cooked by temp not time.
