Seared Tuna Steaks

I did some tuna steaks the other night and they turned out great. Thought I would share. The detailed write-up is here.

Marinade came from Bobby Flay. I'm not a fan but my fiance made it so I can't complain.

I did 90 seconds per side at 500º and let them rest for about 15 minutes.

Loved the color in the middle and use a little soy sauce for dipping. Served with some spaghetti squash mixed with asiago, spinach, and sun dried 'maters.

Found this ultra cheap bottle of Tempranillo/Shiraz mix to be quite enjoyable.

    Love that seared Tuna! I'm a simple EVOO, S&P and Sesame seed guy. My daughter just got back from NY with her grandmother (16th bday trip) and gave an AWFUL report on the food and service at Bobby's Bar American.

    Sounds like we shouldn't be surprised! ;)
