It all looks good. Do you have Sour Cream in Mexico ?
Thanks.
Gary -
MY STUPID !
You live in the US. For some strange reason, I thought you lived in Mexico. I am sorry about that. -
Gary I live in México & yes we've got sour cream & many other goodies
-
Looks good. I guess now we're going to have to add you to the Cajun Joke list LOL. They're always funny and most have an embedded 'deep thought' message.
As for Cajun cook'n... Cook some rice then cook a whole bunch of other stuff.
I think at least one of my 'Girls' is Cajun. And as Martha would say, "That's a good thing."

The reason why I ask, is when I was in Brasil, the isn't any sour cream there. So I figured one could use Creme fresh or plain yogurt.
-
Leroy, I've met all your girls & they are all fabulous :P

Beli, That looks really good! Was the skin crunchy?Molly

Yes Molly it was. I was afraid it wouldn't get crunchy since it was not fried but it turned out crisp & juicy.

My dear hermano soooooooo good to hear from you, where can we meet again which fests do you go to normally? Tell you something, you know I keep your new BBQ sauce bottles with the china???? I still have plenty & I'm proud to share it, but only with my best friends here

That sounds good. We're always open for business, well except when we close down the Chicken Ranch in order to travel.
We will probably load most of the heavy stuff on Wednesday or Thursday, leaving ice chests and suitcases for early Friday. Like Judy mentioned, we plan to leave about 9:00 AM so we can be there early enough to greet out-of-town arrivals and to help Mickey with getting set up.
I'm taking Shirley Small and Maggie Mini to cook on. I will also be taking a few tools and accessories in case someone forgot theirs. So if you stop by here we may have to go up to our favorite Mexican restaurant for dinner on Thursday night. It's only two blocks away and Margaritas are $2.00 during happy hour and $3.00 the rest of the time.
My truck will be pretty full but you can follow us. From here it's about three hours of pure Texas countryside all the way.
Let us know and we'll keep the light on for you.

Sounds great, those margaritas are a must. We are thinking of taking my car this time, but if you need more space we could take Loren's & help you with the stuff no problem. Please let me know.
-
TKS very much Judy, we would love to see you again, will adjust the details as we get closer to the date. Mentioned the fest to Tony, hope he can make it this time.
-
 Good eye my friend I think it was all the wine & basting sauces in last friday's leg of lamb :P
-
If you would get into Salado on Friday you could get an extra party nightSalado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.
