Boston Butt

Did my first butt yesterday, it turned out pretty good.
I noticed that the outer pieces tasted better.
So my question is does anybody inject thier butt? and with what?

    For a good basic pork injection google "chris lillys pork injection"
    it has been the standard for years

    I've never injected anything. Quite happy with just a rub. In fact, many of the NC Q joints don't even use a rub! I keep meaning to try that, but haven't yet. As for Chris Lilly, I'm not sure I trust anyone who puts white sauce on a butt! :laugh:

    I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
