Salado Egghead Gathering Credentials

Let's say I had a hypothetical friend who wanted to attend the Salado Egghead Gathering. If that hypothetical friend was a Yankee from East of the Mississippi, would he need any special documents to enter the Republic of Texas? Would the authorities allow him in if he claimed he was going to a gathering of Eggheads? Would he need a special dispensation from Spring Chicken? What about the passport in the photo- would that allow him in? Remember, this is a hypothetical situation. My hypothetical friend offers his thanks for your help with this. Uglydog

He could be approved if he owns at least one Big Green Egg, or knows someone who owns a Big Green Egg, or has photos of him standing around a Big Green Egg, or is knowledgeable of the Big Green Egg, or is curious to know about the Big Green Egg.

Or he could properly complete and timely submit an AIF (Attendance Info Form - #0001-B which is conveniently linked to at the following web address, complete with instructions:

Otherwise, he will be on his own once crossing the border, unless he is a decent sort and not prone to misbehaving in public.

Leroy, it seems there is an oxymoron in these two phrases: "unless he is a decent sort and not prone to misbehaving in public;" and all the other criteria, such as owning an Egg, being interested in an Egg, etc.
