Had fresh grouper the other night. Really a nice piece of fish. A little Dizzy Pig and other spices made this a delicious meal.

Nice looking cook there Phil. Your lucky you can eat fish and seafood. It has been since 92 I had any kind of fish or seafood. Good Eats.

That is a mighty fine meal. Just got back from 4 days in New Orleans last night, and I swore I wouldn't eat seafood for awhile, but I'd glady take some of that.

Grouper is way high on my list.
Just a great piece of fish to grill.
Firm enough to grill direct.

That's beautiful.
We used to eat Grouper all the time when we lived in Miami, Jacksonville and Daytona Beach. We like it because it has a similar texture to good steak.
Oddly, the best Grouper we ever cooked ourselves was in San Antonio. It was a frozen piece from someone trying to get Albertson's to sell their products. We didn't have a grill so we broiled it in the oven. Absolutely wonderful. Now we measure all Grouper against that one cook so very long ago.
Now you have me wanting some grouper, and I just had a big breakfast.

I am headed to New Orleans in the morning.
Will have some good seafood....Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers. -
