How long can I hold smoked ham in foil in a cooler?

I am guessing 4 hours if wrapped in foil then towels. You can also pre-heat the cooler with hot wat for 15 minutes before putting the meat in.

A long, long , long time. It's cured meat.

You'd have a hard time convincing our ancestors that they had to refrigerate a ham after four hours.

As Fidel said, a long time. I've kept it out at room temp. for hours and I'm still here! :laugh: You might try the cooler technique if you just prefer it to be warm when you serve it.
