Here in North Carolina, most of the BBQ restaurants serve BBQ as either chopped or sliced. My favorite is pulled, but one rarely sees it on a menu. Almost everyone at my church was afraid of my pulled pork, and they let me know they prefer it chopped.
Well, chopping is such a pain in the perverbial Boston Butt. Does anyone have an easy way of chopping their BBQ? Gotta give 'em what they want, right? Or...maybe not.

Sounds like you need to attend another church.

Like Morrow Bay said...I'd find a new Church! Seriously though, an 8 inch chefs knife in both hands, and whack away. A shame to pulverize a nice pulled pork though.

A pair of cleavers or heavy knives and a big cutting board (literally a board) is what we use

Don't they also put vinegar on pulled pork in North Carolina, instead of barbecue sauce? Sounds like they need some general education on the proper way to eat barbecue!BJ (Powhatan, VA)
