After seeing the onion soup Mr Holloway made I decided it was time!
Just a few onions.

Added the leaks.

The wine I used. Don't know where I got it nor can I tell you what it is. Can't read German. :laugh:

Oh, that looks so good. Did you taste the wine before you used it? It is generally a sweet wine and I wondered how that affected the taste of the soup. The melted cheese pic takes it over the top.
