Mike was the first one to befriend me on these forums and was always there when I needed something. I credit him with many of my cooks and techniques.

After I posted my first carved melon he mentioned that he was going to buy the tools that Michelle had arranged from Chef Ray and we talked about it many times. He wanted to add that extra effort to his catering.

    Just had to take another look at this. It's very cool! Mike would be so proud of this :) Thank you for doing this and posting it, it's very touching.

    Hope all you egg friends are doing well?! If your ever passing through Kansas City, let me know your on the way. I don't cook on an egg, but I can usually manage to serve a decent meal or at the least, meet you at some of Kansas City's favorite foodie spots :)
