Got this from a friend.

WOW!!! Only in Louisiana

Handmade ground beef patties, topped with sharp cheddar cheese, wrapped in a bacon weave, then the next step, add hot dogs as the heads, legs with slits for toes and tail.

Next step. Place on egg, covered loosely with foil, indirect for 20-30 minutes at 400 degrees. A little crispy, not too crunchy...just how a turtle should be, no?

  • I don't know what's weirder...that "turtle burgers" like this actually exist, or that they look absolutely delicious!

Hahahahaha, those are wonderful, thanks for the laugh. If your going that far maybe a little foil on the dogs would be OK.

  • That is pretty awesome.

Phil, those are way too cute. :)

    Bet they tasted good.
  • Phil, you are the man. I can't wait to try this on my egg. I have a niece that will buy this hook, line and sinker when I tell her they are real turtles. This will really get her goat because she likes critters and is really picky about what she will eat. This is funny. Thanks.
