Elder Ward's pulled pork -- wrap in foil or not

I have made Elder Ward's pulled pork a number of times. This time I wrapped it in foil after 5 hours. Will this reduce the cooking time? I am cooking at about 240 degrees and plan on 20 hours. I am cooking two 5.5 lb shoulders.
Thanks.
Chris
Thanks.

It should not take near 20 hours.11-12 TOPS.1.5-2 hrs per pound.Cook time is for one butt. Two 5.5 pound butts will NOT take any longer than one to cook. Pull at 190-200 internal temp or you will have meteorites.I NEVER use foil til I pull them off.

Hoss, thanks. I smoked unwrapped for 5 hours then wrapped in foil. Since I have already wrapped in foil I need to determine if cooking time will be shorter. As I put them on BGE at 11:30am this morning it could mean middle-of-the-night duty!__________ Chris

I don't think it will speed it up a lot.Just make it greasier. :( At least that's what I have seen in the past when friends foiled while cooking.JMTC.

Comment about greasier made me uneasy. I checked and poured the juice in the foil out into the drip pan.
I see what happens.__________ Chris -
Good MOVE! IMHO!

There is a BIG difference in wrapping in foil and tenting with foil!
