I have never done ribs on the egg. I intend to use Car Wash Mikes recipe from the Cookbook For Eggheads. I will be cooking on a large. What I ned to know is how many slabs should I get for 12 people and 4 kids? Any advice would be appreciated.

for 16 of my friends it would take 16 slabs
Don't know your crowd or what else your serving but 4 slabs with sides sounds like a good starting point. I would add a few dogs and burgers or some chicken just in case -
Thanks. I had not considered the dogs and burgers. I will do it.

But they come 3 to a pack at Sam's
Geaux for 6 and still do some tube steaks and burgers maybe a few links of sausage -
Thanks. The number is no problem. I have a great old fashioned butcher that gives you what ever you want. He thought six was a good number too.
