I was wondering if there is any certain proceedure for breaking in new stoneware?

  • Nope - just use it.

I just didn't know if it was better to put thin coat of oil or something on it to help seal the pores or something. I just hated to start using it and something go wrong and find out after the fact that I should have done this instead of that and then I would have to buy another one since they are they are pricey.
