Chuck roast

Yesterday I was in our local Bruno's grocery store and they had a chuck roast reduced from $8 to $4. I figured hey I can spend $4 and experiment on the BGE. I seered it at about 500 degrees and then got the temp down to 350 and cooked it about 30 minutes till it reached about 140 degrees. I wrapped it in foil and let it rest for 15 minutes and then me and hubby ate almost the whole thing!!!! It was the best $4 piece of meat I have ever eaten. I think I may get rid of the crockpot!!!

Sounds great CTG. You are getting the hang of things quick.
Hang onto the crockpot though, you may need to do some beans or something when the Egg is occupied.
