Quick question, if you purchase ribs, butts, briskets and such by the case, how far back are you willing to on the case date before you say, ah that is too long.
Reason for asking, I tried to pick up a case of st. louis style ribs today but the case dates were 12/30/09. All the other product dates were within 2 weeks. At $2.25/lb., I passed.

That is way to long. They may ave been froze though. All my spares are coming in frozen.
