Ahhh. Coffee. Egg is lit. Ribs are rubbed. Wife is getting ready for work. I just love Fridays. Smoke some ribs, take them to work with me at the prison for my dinner tonight. Drive the inmates absolutely crazy while I eat in front of them. Oh well.

I just love Fridays.

PS - Egg is heating better. Must have been moisture in the lump. I did clean out all the old lump and all is good even though my gasket is gone. I scraped the bottom half off. Seems to seal better now.

I can't understand why the local dealer does not stock the high temp gasket and why it takes four weeks to get one unless you want to spend as much in shipping as the gasket!

The judges may have reduced the term of these prisoners if he knew they were gonna be tortured! ;-)

    Enjoy the ribs!

  • It's surprising to me that the mothership doesn't use a higher quality gasket for as much as we pay for these things.
  • Do you really eat ribs in front of the inmates?

Why do images of the Green Mile come to mind. ha ha
  • Don't make Bubba mad at you. YOU might become his comfort food.
