Beef back ribs- pleasantly surprised

Haven't had a chance to cook much over the past few weeks, heavy travel, but did these last weekend. I haven't cooked a beef rib in a LONG time, and never on the Egg. Picked these up for $1.69/ lb and will definitely be on the lookout for them again. They turned out really well. Lean, but very meaty and tender. Wife preferred them to pork ribs.
Rubbed with mustard and DP Cowlick
Coasted at 250, took about 6 1/2 hours total
Very good with some home made tater salad

Nice looking cook. I sometimes get them cut into 2 inch pieces and cook with a rub and spritz towards the end and add Admiral Tso's special sauce the last hour or so for an oriental flavor.

looks great! i made the same thing last night. my wife loves these, much more than pork ribs.
what sort of time frame/heat did you use? -
Great looking ribs, JB
I prefer them to pork ribs, also. I do them exactly the way you did.
Thanks for the post, I've got to find some tomorrow. -

Those look just friggen fabulous.
I did my first beef ribs a bit ago and realized my therm was off by about 70, so I did them for about 8 hrs. Need to do them again. -
Just above second picture he wrote 250 for 6.5 hrs

My biggest problem is finding the ribs! I found some at Publix but they wanted $2.98/lb!

Yeah, I dont see them often either, but I did get these at Publix on sale.
