fattie versus meat loaf, whats the difference

I've been seeing a lot of posts about fatties. My question is what differentiates a fattie from meatloaf?

I personally am NOT a big meatloaf fan, but am interested in this fattie concept as I'm currently doing the meat diet, aka atkins.

  • a fattie is just a big log of breakfast sausage, smoked for a couple hours. some recipes have you roll the log out flat and stuff with virtually anything, then roll them back up into a log.
I would not make fatties a regular part of any diet, they aren't called fatties for nothing. A meat loaf as far I have ever seen is at least part beef and may be a mix with pork and/or veal. I don't know how bad either one actually is for us but they can't be good.

  • the thing itself is rarely truly bad for you. it's how much you have of it.
