I need to replace the dome thermometer that came with my large BGE. After researching the forum it seems that Tel-Tru is the way to go. Any recommendations on which model would go best with a large BGE?
Thanks

You need to get the LT225R model and make sure you get the 5" stem. You can get either a 150-750 or 200-1000 degree span, too, and I personally would recommend getting the 150-750 for more accurate low and slow cooks.

Go to the Naked Whiz's site. He has a writeup on the Tel-Tru thermometers.

Thanks, I will. By the way, when I searched the forum I saw that you really liked yours. Still like it?

Be careful. Just ordered 3. Two like you said but 1000 and the 2 1/2 inch for the mini.
Put one in the large and one in the small.
I keep my metal vent in cookers and bent a new never used temp on vent in small
