Looking forward to trying it out. Already had pizza planned tonite, I assume the rig will not work with the platesetter? I guess if I had another pizza stone for an indirect piece I could use it for pizza. Anyone ever try it with pizza, any advantage to getting the pie a little higher in the dome?

I like it that way. Pizza stone on the top rack of the adjustable rig, heat it up to 500 degrees for about an hour, then cook the pies.
Higher in the dome is a great way to cook pizza and no indirect ceramics needed. -
For me the higher the pizza stone the better the pizza cook. I love the AR for cooking pizza and most other things.
I use the spider normal position and inverted for a lot of cooks.
Sausage and 1/2 pineapple & 1/2 tomato. Great eats

I just invert the spider and have my 14' BGE stone on top of that. Then I have another 16' stone on the very top of the rig sitting on the grate. I've had really good results with this setup -->
