Power Washers are fun indeed. If you have had yours long think about PW items that are close to the handle and circular - you are going to get dirty from whatever is inside the egg and you are going to get wet.
Now for the egg.
If you have a powerful PW'er think about the ceramics. I can etch cement if I am using a 15% tip or less, just think what that will do to semi soft ceramic. You might just put a hole through the egg - I doubt that would be covered under warranty.
Secondly, if you get water/moisture into the ceramic and you light the egg. That water will expand as it turns to steam, and you may very well crack the ceramics.
Nice idea, but why take the chance.
Follow the advice of the wise forum members above, Mike, Richard and Bill are steering you in the right direction.

Being mechanically inclined I had thought of all of the negatives as a result of PW.
Thanks for the heads up

I use a little wisk broom to sweep the soot off and use a little dust pan, When I get real ambitious I will break out the shop vac, But not very often.LET'S EAT
