Hello everybody,

I was wondering if by putting on a fan to increase airflow and consequently speed up getting up to temp, will it get rid of the bad smoke faster. I would say yes but I'm not sure

i think it would work but if you leave it there too long you will over shoot your temp ;)

sure it will work - I often use either of these to help get the fire going when the wind isn't blowing enough to create a natural draft. Then once going the heat itself causes the draft.
