    Hey, my BIL is here and was asking about how you finished the handles on our spatulas. What did you use? Do you care to share? :lol:

    No problem buddy,I use Helmsman spar urethane(from the big orange box)I think I put 5 or 6 coats on yours,with a light(350 grit) sanding between coats ;)

    Hey thanks Ray,I think that I used oak for this project,but not sure :whistle: It's just what I found in the woods at the time :ohmy: This is what it looked like when I found it.....

    That could very well be but one I'm not familiar with. Of course my citified ways set in years ago. So much so I've forgotten what little I learned as a youngster. There are many oaks.
