I just had a friend deliver some wood for smoking. I've got cherry, hickory, and oak.

All I've used thus far is chips and pellets. My question is what size do I need to cut my bulk wood to.

I'm guessing about 3 inches long and about 2 in diamemter. That sound about right?

Thanks in advance.
