Cedar Planked Ginger-Sesmae chicken

Cedar-Planked Chicken Thighs with Soy-Ginger Glaze
I soaked the Cedar Plank in some good beer, and Marinated the chicken thighs for 4 hours and also did some smashed potatoes

Starting out with fresh Garlic and Ginger

    Thanks, we have had the tractor for 13 years, it is a little beat up but works great!

    I must be missing something i don't see the cedar planks in the cook. Where were they used during this?

    was wondering the same thing.

    even if they were there, isn't the platesetter defeating their purpose?

    do you get any smoke from them with the platesetter in place?

    My bad I started them on the Cedar Plank soaked in Longboard beer for 30 mins then finished off indirect for 15 mins I thought I had a picture of them on the Cedar Plank but I guess I forgot to take one as I was busy water the lawn B) I think if I did this again I would cook all the way on the Plank............Sorry for the confussion :silly: :silly:

    Yes thanks strike I was trying something different and not crisp the chicken to much, the thighs sure where moist!
