I bought my large egg at a yard sale a month ago from a fellow up the street. Seems he had four eggs and was unloading one of them. It included his table. He delivered the whole thing and helped me set it up on my deck. Best yard sale item I’ve ever bought.

Since that time I discovered this forum. It has proven to be an invaluable resource of tips, ideas and links to other sites. A perfect compliment for me as I learn to take advantage of this wonderful piece of equipment. I’ve tried several recipes from you folks, and especially like the mouth watering photos showing the results other people have had.

Thanks to everyone; I’m hooked...

You got that right, Mainegg. After he put the SOLD sign on it, he told me he had 10 other people stop in wanting to buy it. The bbg smoke smell in Kennebunk is a lot better these days.

nope no thinking just do it. even if you can only come for a few hours on sat. you will learn a lot and meet some really great people. we are coming down fri and staying the night. it is a lot of fun and you get to try some really good food too I'm Julie by the way

Welcome to the world of BGE! Wish my neighbors put good stuff out at their yard sales. Seems they only put their old gassers out. Who needs those things anymore after you got an BGE.

LOL it might eb a good idea! you will be stuffed. there is everything from breakfast stuff to prime rib. it all depends on what everyone decides to cook. I am starting with cinn rolls and then doing a pork and bean dish. last year I cooked all day. from the lighting of the eggs to when we had to shut down so they would cool off so the new oners could load them. cutting back this year
