I put a picnic on last night about 5. temps were stable 237 grate 250-55ish dome. This was all good at least until at least 10 p.m. Got up at 5;30 and it had rained, murphys law, and my egg temp was down to 165, I opened up the bottom vent a little and then I was back up to a good egg temp in not too long a time. My picnic was at 125 during all this. It's gone up a degree or two since restabalizing the egg. I still have a long way to go but the question is do you think that my picnic is still good. I'm don't think it ever got above 140 but i'm not sure. I heard that was the point to keep meat above once it gets there. What do you think. Thanks, Brett
