Has anyone got a fail safe method for cooking burgers. The ones that i cook are usually 1" to 1-1/2 " thick and either come out to done or to pink.


  • cook by temp not sight.
    thermopen or thermometer or just until the juice runs clear for well.
  • I 100% agree. I had my second son's birthday about two weeks after getting my egg. I tried some burgers and they were so raw no one could eat them. I tried to cook them like on the gasser, and no luck. They were really bad... get a thermometer and don't cook by time, but by temp.
