It's gonna have to! My plan is to hold monthly cooking/egging classes, and if that doesn't pan out....just big parties :-)
Cheers!
Chris -
You gotta get a yard like that first :woohoo:
-
You need to stop drink'n then
-
Thanks Stike
For some reason, kids dig Dizzy Pig straight outta the bottle. Maybe we should host a spice eating contest! hee. See how much the kids can really eat.
We gots lotsa fresh spices mixed up and ready to roll. Will be lookin for your order. Hoping for a good December since it's been slow. So much so that we are offering up free gift certificates on multiple gift packs if'n yooz be wantin' to consolidate your shopping! hehe.
Hey, tell me how to inscribe that memorial brick, and it'll be on the way bro!
Be well mang.
Chris -
That's looking really good, Chris. That patio will see a lot of parties, dinners and excellent egged food. Be sure to post pics often!
-
Cool. I hear you might be coming down soon! We'll build a firepit together and then build a big bottle-melter fire.
They made a bunch of progress today. Plan on it baby! Weekend after next?
Beers ma fraind.
Chris -
good plan, and then you will really see the economy crumble. i dont see the need to have a patio if i wasnt drinking, what would i do out there. its got all the essentials now, eggs, rocker, picnic table, firepit, dock. just needs about 2500 dollars of rock to finish it off, man rock is expensive for something thats found all over the place.fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

How could you be envious when you are THE Lawn Ranger? hehe. Yeah man. It should be a little paradise. You can't see from the photo, but it's right up against the trees and lotza shade in the summer. I also went ahead and dug in power, cable and speaker wire so we can listen to tunes and watch the big game under the roof.
We even stuck in this small fiberglass water pond in the corner that'll have a 3 foot waterfall seemingly coming out of the boulders. My wife an I bought it after we got married....almost 20 years ago, and it has never been in the ground. We just take it everywhere we go and store it in the basement :-)
I haven't been so excited since we moved back into our house.
Cheers bro
Chris -
I don't need no stinkin thermometer! ;-)
The house is actually adjacent to the patio. I'll snap some shots of a few more views. Here's one I posted yesterday from a little over a week ago.
Cheers mang!
Chris -
Hey Larry
Thanks mang. I am hoping it will be some sort of paradise. Though, like most things, you gotta first have time to enjoy it. Always think about people that buy hammocks but then realize they can't buy the time to nap in it!
Good luck on your roof. Yell if you need ideas. We been thinkin about it for a while.
Seeya!
Chris -
LOL
Howdy Cecil!
Curious...what is your biz? Also, thanks for your support!
Chris -
Hey Beli.
We live in Fairfax, VA. A suburb of our nation's capital....we're about 12 or 13 miles straight West of the city. Our little county now houses 1.3 million people. It's a little crazy around here, but we bought our land 20 years ago and are glad we did. These days they are building 6 houses on lots like ours.
Can you ship me up some of those palm trees??
Cheers!
Chris -
Thanks Judy! I have a feeling you are right about the fun. And yes, by all means, an egger party will happen. Hope you and Leroy are mighty fine going into the holidays!
Cheers
Chris -
Tell your stone guy he needs a couple guys from south of the border. Those folks are ready to work hard.
A big teak rocker? Dang that sounds good. Where do I get one?
Beers to ya fishless.
Chris -
DUDE! Great to hear from you. We missed you AND the "brothers cornfed" this year at the fests. Wasn't the same without yall.
BTW, not cooked food on it, but a few beers have indeed lost their lives out there already.
Seeyamang!
Chris -
Hey Brad. Thanks bro. I'll shirley try and get some more pixtures up. I gotta get off this computer and see what has changed in the last hour! I'll bring me camera.
Heeee!
Chris -
Looking good. What are all the cables on the right side of the photo for? Hot tub? Or is that some type of security system for Celtic Wolfs travel cart? :woohoo:
-
Thanks Mike. Naw, we are not hot tub people. The covered roof area has power, cable (for TV) and speaker wire. Then another power cable goes to the future waterfall pump, and then a 30 amp power cable for the future garage (up by where the dizzy pig trailer sits).
Well...cooking some wings for the workers now and gotta go pull them off. Thanks all for the kind words and for sharing our excitement! I'm all wound up.
Beers to ya Mike!
Chris -
Hey Chris, the patio is lookin great :woohoo: SHOW OFF!! :silly:I am lookin forward to see'in the progress on it man :woohoo: Just try not to finish before me
-
That is going to be such a beautiful area. I'm really happy for you, Chris. How much sq. footage does this project cover?
