1st attempt at eggrolls

Well, I think it was Beanie Bean's post that inspired me to try eggrolls. Never made them before. Anyway, I bought some eggroll wrappers and did 1/2 with shrimp and cheese and 1/2 with grilled chicken, bacon and cheese. Eggwash all around the outside.

I was very pleased the way the end result turned out for a first attempt I did these on my small, so the ones on the outside got a little burnt outside the plate setter but the ones in the middle were nice and crunchy. Next time I am going to do them on the XL and use a breakfast mix in these.

hmmm... that looks good! I have eggroll/spring roll wrappers I got at Super H Mart and haven't decided what to do with them.... hmmmm... gives me inspiration! I'm thinking shrimp & grits with chopped green chiles...hmmmm

They look like spring roll wraps to me. I did some Vietnamese last week with pork and shrimp that were amazing.
