Large Egg Cooking Surface area

I really want to buy an Egg, but the large just doesnt seem like it has very much cooking surface area on it.
Am I wrong?

You can rack'm and stack'm too. In various cooks, I have gotten 5 racks of ribs, Cooked 35lb of Pork butt, done all sort's of stuff in my large BGE.
I also have a super nice 4 burner gasser that I actually moved off the deck since I never use it anymore. Here's a pic where I cooked a bunch of chicken and at the same time had bacon wrapped scallops...
I highly recommend the BGE..I am actually in the market for my second Lg.

Compared to most gas grills, it doesn't have the same surface, but like Jimmy said, you can stack & stack, to double & even triple the surface. A 25 pound turkey fits in with room to spare as well. If you are really concerned, have you considered the XL?happy in the hut
