Wood Chip Tip

For those of you who soak wood chips for smoking, you can freeze any left overs in baggies. OR you can pre-measure and pre-package, already soaked chips and freeze for future use. Be sure to label them since all frozen chips pretty much look alike. Thanks, PoB

  • Not trying to be a smart [email protected] but you don't have to soak the wood chunks when using the egg. you get the slow smoldering burn not the flare up were they bur really fast. just my 2 cents.
  • I'm referring to chips, not chunks. And I do not take offense to your comments. thanks, PoB

chips don't burn either, though. one of the cool oddities of the egg.

but still, a good tip, nonetheless. don't let any of us browbeat you.
