Well, I am sure this debate has been on here before, but I am just dying for the season to start so here we go again. My story is this... I am born and raised in Nebraska, but currently and for the last nine years am living in Missouri. But the team I cheer for is the OKLAHOMA SOONERS!!!!!!!! You may ask, what not a Husker fan????? I have never been a Nebraska fan. The old days with Barry Switzer, Bosworth, Holleway, Keith Jackson.... Must I go on? I loved the wishbone offense and the "characters" on their teams I just enjoyed watching them play and that continues to this day. So how about everyone else? What team do you cheer for?

Unfortunately my team is just about dead. But Syracuse was pretty good when I went there! For now, we pretty much stick to basketball.

i've very close to my uncle and he got his PhD from their and several students participate in the ACE teaching program and come down and teach at my old high school. all the students that come down to teach have been very solid people and wonderful company.

    [li]The "Underdog" if I'm stuck watching a game.[/li]
[li]The team opposite whichever team all the other people watching want to win. I like stirring up nutjob sports fans.[/li] [/ol]

Oh, Im sure the people of South Bend are nice, well respected, professional, courteous, & all around good folks.
But we are talking about Football here. Fact is they don't even belong to a conference, and have but one or two significant opponents per season. If they win two in a row, the national media starts talking "winning streaks" and all hail to the Fighting Irish. It is ridiculous.

it would have to be bc, but i would rather watch beanpot hockey if i have to watch college games. i dont believe newengland colleges are big enough to really draw the fans like the big schools in football
  • USC will not be stopped this year. Watch out for the rest of the PAC 10. East coast bias can't keep them down!

Auburn has had the Tide's number for a while now, thats for sure.

Hey Guys, I have an excellent MS Excel spreadsheet of all the Div-1 team schedules, by conference for 2008. If anyone wants a copy (even you USC, Notre Dame, or Florida Fans =), I can email it. I'm not sure who created it but it is the best schedule I have ever seen.

  • Georgia will be rocking this year. They have a killer defense.
