Any body that will post them.

Rick does spend a lot of time with prep., plating, and finish. That's what professionals do.

Everyone that post a pic is something I can learn from. This board has been great for information and advice on how to do anything you want to cook.

I truly like them all..I surf this forum by sorting by last 25 then looking for the camera icons for the posts that include pix..I look at those first and foremost.. but as far as quality of photography and originality of presentation, Woodoggie and Rick are top shelf in the time I've been on this forum...

Rick certainly possesses a giant talent for pictures and food creations. But luckily, so many great people are kind enough to post their pics and share with all of us. I've learned so much from photos that may not compare on the same level as Rick's, or Fidels or.....

I look forward to all photos from everyone, because it lets us all in on a little bit of their day and their lives. I've seen pics shared about puppies, children, graduation, births, hardships, as well as gardens, flowers, animals, pests, and even some food on occaison.Haha. Let's not discourage anyone who feels their pics may not be magazine worthy by selecting one favorite!.

a couple of you are trying to vilify me it sounds like.

it's not like that at all.

i was born in '70 and it's still hot as fire down here.

the coast has changed a few times since then. casinos, katrina and now. the casinos are back, but much of the area on hwy 90 is still a wasteland.

    Deepsouth,

I agree with you, my fav's in no order,

Woodoggies, Rick's, Thirdeye, Fidel, Mad Max, Wess B., AZRP,,,

One thing's for sure, since seeing their pictures I've "Googled food photography" and I am trying to learn what they are doing, cook wise and photography wise.

    Good question Deep.

i understand your point, but i'm not sure you understand mine. in fact, i'm sure you don't as you continue with the same line of fire......

No one is vilifying you. So don't play the martyr angle. I can't count how many times I've spoken with folks who lurk here all the time, and don't post because they say they feel that they aren't skilled enough to answer or they are afraid they won't be recieved well. Granted, we have some extremely talented photographers on here and I've learned from them too, even though my pics will never have the quality of the masters. But I would hate to think that some folks won't post because they can't live up to those high standards. We all learn from each other, and each others pics.

I think everyone should post pics. It is not about who has the best looking food(but Thirdeye gets my vote), it is about our mutual admiration for all things BGE, including each other.

I like em all, I enjoy em all, and I thank all those in advance for posting pics.

Anyone who takes time to take the pic, uplosd it, review and decide what to use, resize it, host it, and post it is taking time to share valued information. Thanks for sharing.

But RTD and Woodoggies are over the top.

    Jason,

Don't take the comments too seriously. In a short matter of time not much will be thought of one way or another.

Now the above doesn't infer you did anyting wrong.
