Can somebody with a table help

A little ways down there is a guy with a new egg. He built a table and it looks to me like the egg is sitting directly on a slab. I don't use a table but i've read a lot that it is bad to not use the feet.

I may be all wet but it may save the guy some grief.

I have mine set on a slab of granite that is level with the bottom shelf. That being said my egg was not high enough in the table for the hinges to clear the table top when opening. So I put BGE on terra cotta plant pot feet from Home Depot as the green ones delivered with the egg weren't tall enough either. I have seen many pictures of cracked tiles and paver stones under eggs set directly on them. You need air to pass under the bottom.

As I said, I don't use a table but there has been quite a bit of talk on the site about it. Only had weak reading glasses at work today and I wasn't 100% sure you didn't have the feet on. :laugh:
