Anyone have suggestions on marinade or rubs on a flank steak? Any help would be appreciated.

I like Montreal Steak Seasoning with some soy. Cook 550F+ flip after 2-3 minutes depending on thickness and rest 15 minutes. Cut against the grain.

You may want to try some teryaki sauce, honey and a little bourbon for about 2 hours befor cooking!!

If you go to foodtv.com and look for Alton Brown's recipes from the "Raising The Steaks" episode, his marinade for the skirt steak is excellent. Also, you might like to try searing the flank steak directly on the red hot charcoal for a few minutes and then finish roasting it to your preference.The Naked Whiz

I can vouch for Damon's flank steak prowess. I have had two varieties and both were outstanding.

i've been on a 'carne asada' kick lately, the leftovers make great tacos.
4 limes, juiced and zested
salt and pepper
3 cloves of crushed garlic
olive oil
i keep it simple, dont add the cumin normally, and if i have some cilantro around ill finely chop some and toss it in.
its great, and nice and light for the summertime. -
