Cabbage Bowl recipe

I saw a post a week or so back with cabbage bowl recipes. My question is do you brown the sausage first or put it in the center uncooked.

I made it last weekend using a smoked fatty. Came out totally awesome. Filling was smoked fatty, with raw mushrooms and Vidalia onion. OMG!!! :silly:

brown it first. try and find YB's recipe, its good. i added some cheese, dont remember how the curry from drbbqs book was but i know i added some into the cabbage head. i think most wrap the bottom with foil, i didnt have a problem with it falling apart but foil would be safer
