the bottomless pits do not like as much smoke as i do and the leftovers, mashed with mayo and lemon made a fantastics smoked salmon salad sandwich.

Looking good Bill. Does the plank flavor get into the salmon. I am allergic to fish and sea food so I never tryed it. Like to try to make it sometime for the wife.

Really nice Bill. Wife loves the salmon but my presentation sucks. Guess I gotta work on my color. Usually it's fish, DP spices then here it is. :( . That looks great.

you get smoke flavor from the wood when you burn up the wood as on this cook. friday nights was done on the large at a lower temp and further from the coals so the smoke flavor was much less , cedar, flavors directly from the wood plus the smoke i did not think the alderwood gave any flavor form the wood direct only the smoke,

thanks, olive oil course ground pepper a bit of dill and a lemon slice or two.

it was good thanks and the leftovers made a fantastic smoked salmon salad sandwich on rosemary/olive oil bread. i am bummed i waited so long to buy planks.

Rosemary / olive bread.....mmmmmmmmmmmmmm ............ me too my first plank was just last friday.........thanks to Jeff who insisted on me buying them in San Diego. Must get some more
